Ann's Story
I moved to Abu Dhabi in 2009. I worked for 3 1/2 years as assistant system registrar for the Higher Colleges of Technology. Last month I moved to a new job as registrar at the Petroleum Institute. Previously I worked at Lawrence Technological University, Lake Michigan College, and Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.

Peoria, IL, public schools. I have three grown children and three grandchildren. My husband Robert Liska and I divorced in 1998 after 27 years of marriage. Bob suffered for a long time from kidney disease. We remained close friends until his death in October 2002.
Music is still an important part of my life, especially choir singing. I also enjoy writing and am a member of the Abu Dhabi Writers' Circle. You can read some of my stories on ReadWave.
