Bruce's Story
CURRENTLY:
My wife, Tambra, and I live in Anaheim. We married in 1998. No kids. We are in dog rescue and have a rescue senior dog and/or cat in our family at all times. We also volunteer for a nonprofit that helps veterans / active military / reservists.
LIFE TIMELINE:
I've been in So. Calif. since August 1969.
As a teen, I was very serious about my weightlifting. Only several years ago did I discover that my best deadlift (460lbs) was a mere 40lbs shy of the American Teenage Record in the now-defunct 198lb class (middle heavyweight division).
I signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys in 1971 (speaking of football I was a member of VHS' l...Expand for more
ast undefeated football team-1965- 8 wins; 1 tie-state champs). Nothing ever really came of it though. It's a whole story in itself for another day to tell.
I became a Christian in 1976. I drove a gasoline tanker truck & trailer from 1981-1996 in the So. Cal area.
I've been a Gospel puppeteer since 1992, (visit lafpuppets.org). We are semi-retired from puppetry as of 2005. Check out what we are up to now at lafpuppets org.
Was inducted into the VHS Hall of Fame, November 2017!
