I hope I am a different, better person 20 years later! So, 1989, graduated SHS & started at Penn State Behrend in Electrical Engineering. 2 yrs of that & I changed majors to Special Education. 2 more years in the woods up there in Erie, which I absolutely loved. (Sorry, Heather Kissel, that you did not love it as much!) Then 2 yrs at Penn State, State College. Nine of us lived at 124 N. Patterson St. & it was amazing-- mountain biking, hiking, caving, good times, making lifelong friends. Student teaching in Norristown, PA, living with Gina's family (thank you, Gina's family) A week in Nags Head, NC with friends after graduation, including adventures such as riding airplanes over Hatteras, Mike firewalking, and driving a minivan on the beach Moved back to parents' house in Allison Park Worked as a special education aide at Beatty Tech Traveled around Victoria, Australia for a month in 1997 Moved to Boston area (Stacy Kissel invited me to come to be her roommate up here) Taught special education at a Lexington, MA middle school, then Lexington High School Master's in Special Education from Framingham State College because it was cheap! Currently teach at Brookline High School, Brookline, MA Went to Honduras with Stacy Kissel; we were guest judges at a Honduran school's science fair!
