Life after leaving school june 82, I moved to germany to be a nanny. what was to be 3-6 months, lasted 1 1/2 years!!! then on to Eau Claire tech and travel school in Msp. Down to Midway Airlines in chicago for 3 years of free travel, lots of fun and lots of guys!!! The traveling was great and Chicago was fun. Moved to Auckland New Zealand in 1988 ended up working for and living with a wealthy lady and her son in a huge house over looking the whole bay. During some early c-mas shopping, I met a great guy (Mark) in one of the shops. we ended up getting married in Menomonie 11 months later and moved to Walnut Creek CA for 12 years. It was fun and expensive and hectic and great weather 10 1/2 months out of the year. With alot of travel around California, Lake Tahoe and the napa valley region, it was time to settle down and start a family. 11 years into our marriage - along came this great little boy named Nathan. He was born with cleft lip and palate and the first year was a huge emotional rollercoaster for me. Work part time, several operations, lots of feeding challenges and all with no family around to help. Mark was working long hours at a steel mill and the income was great , but it was time to slow down and change our course of life again!!! We bought a huge motorhome, toured around the US for 6 months and 13,000 miles and packed every thing up and moved to Christchurch New Zealand 10/01, where all of Marks family lives.
