Homer's Story
After graduation I married Sharon Roush from Dunbar. We moved to Michigan and I worked for Ford Motor Co. for about a year. Ever since, I have been in the restaurant business in one form or another. We have 4 kids and have moved about 27 times over the years but have been at this location for almost 20. Our eldest, Homer, Jr. lives in Dunbar. He is in the Air National Guard and is in Saudi Arabia right now. He is married to a girl he met in Cheyenne, Yvonne, and has two children. They are Homer III, 20, who is in pre-law at UC where he is on the cross country team, and Chelsea, 18. Chelsea is the softball pitcher for SC where she has been all-state almost every year and should be the #1 pitcher in the state this year. She was the sports writers play...Expand for more
er of the year. Watch for her in the papers. You can google her and see what she is up to. We have a son, Tracy, and a daughter, Shari, who live in Boston. Neither is married at the present. Our youngest daughter, Alisa, is a teacher in Lakeland, FL. She was teacher of the year her first year as teacher. She is married to an airline pilot from Holland, Harald. He flies for American Eagle. She has a son, London,17, (that's him in the picture with me) who was the #7 scorer in soccer in his schools division and he also plays LaCrosse. I'm hoping to make the reunion where I hope to see all of you. P.S. My secretary/wife, Sharon needs to be given credit for all this because I'm a hunt-and-pecker and it would have taken me all day to write all of this.
