Homer's Story
Life
I joined the Air Force right out of High School. After basic training I returned home and married my childhood sweetheart, Barbara Huff. We went to Monterey, California where I spent a year in the Army Language School. After that we went back to Texas where our first child, "Karen" was born. Very soon after that I went to Korea and served there 13 months, then back to finish my enlistment at Luke AFB in Arizona. It was a great experience for me and Barb. I went to work ...Expand for more
for a construction company after returning home to TN and we traveled with this company for some 10 years and had 2 more childred and finally settled in Bowling Green, KY, where we have remained. I am still in Construction and Barb and I are in reasonably good health (Barb is a breast cancer survivor-going on 4 years now). I am still working, but think about fishing alot. Kids are all grown and married. Our son is a preacher in Paoli, IN and he has our only grandchild, Brooke.
