Homer's Story
Homer is from Macon, Georgia. His daughter, Laura Mullins Genone, also attended Stratford. He earned his BA and JD degrees from Emory University. Achieved rank of major while serving in the USAF JAG Dept from 1972 until 1976, including 1 remote tour in Korea. Practiced law in Atlanta in various capacities from 1977 until 2002 when he resigned from King & Spalding and withdrew from active practice due to severe hearing loss. ers especially those involving cognitive dysfunction, e.g., auditory processing disorder and AD/HD. He also consults with employers concerning personnel issues involving hearing loss. As part of his training, he attended Gallaudet University in Washington earning a certificate as "Peer Mentor for Hearing Enhancement." He moved to Princeton, NJ in 2005 and later married his business partner. In 2014, that marriage ended in divorce and he moved back to Macon where he continues his practice as Odyssey Coaching & Consulting d/b/a The Legal Ear.
