Carlye's Story
I moved to Reno, NV in 2002 with my ex-boyfriend and after a year there we split up (after 8 yrs together) & he went back to Simi so I stayed in Reno, alone. It was so weird and liberating at the same time. I had a great job as a bookkeeper for a water well driller and made some lifetime friends. Most importantly, I met my wonderful husband Jay there and we were married at a dude ranch in Virginia City, NV in June 2006. CA in Feb.2006 & after trying for 18 months I got pregnant that May with Jessie. She was born Jan 31, 2007. Redding is where Jay's two 23 year old sons and all his other family live. And, in April my parents also moved up here. It is so great to have family close by while raising this little crazy girl named Jessica. In Sept 2008 I went back to work as a bookkeeper for a CPA's office and after Jay lost his job in Dec 2008, he is home with Jessie and has gone back to school. Life is crazy but we are very happy.
