Susan's Story
Life
Hi there all. I have been busy since Graduation. I have 4 children, 3 sons, and 1 daughter. They are all grown now and have left the nest. My eldest son married at Disney World in a beautiful Cinderella Wedding, in April 2006. My only daughter married at the Willamsburg Winery in Virginia in November 2007. My youngest son married in at beautiful Historic Church in Kings Mountain, North Carolina in August 2008. And last but not least, my second eldest son married at a winery in Petaluma, California in October 2009.
In June 2009 I became a Grandmother for the first time, to a beautiful granddaughter. I now have three more grandchildren, for a total of 5; 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. How wonderful is that!!
I am single.... again. Just like in school I had lots of beau's..... unfortunately, I have had four too many husbands. Unlucky in love but blessed with four wonderful children. And now five grandchildren! I continue to believe in love and hope that I will someday find a special "prince charming" to spend this chapter of my life with.
I have had the great fortune to travel to the Orient and not only walk the Great Wall of China but also the streets of The Forbidden City. A journey I shal...Expand for more
l never forget. It was a religious experience that forever changed my view as God opened my eyes and I know He is everywhere. Still there is no place like these great United States Of America.
Currently I have a Wire Fox Terrier, just like when I was growing up. Ali is now nine years old and is my constant companion . She talks back very little and gives quite a lot of kisses and love!
I am an RN by trade but left the field 15 years ago to become a business owner with my ex spouse. We owned Family Entertainment Ctr's that feature Lazer Tag, located in Myrtle Beach, SC and Fayetteville, NC. My divorce now severs any Business interests in the company. So I am free of all the stress it has created.
I reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia where my oldest son and only daughter live. I suffered a massive stroke n February 2011. God has a way of getting your attention and making you straighten out the priorities in your life. I should have died, but God wasn't done with me and He spared my life. Now 3 years later I am 99% recovered and grateful for every "extra" moment He has blessed me with.
I hope life has treated you all well. Please feel free to drop me a line and we can catch up.
