Horst's Story
Life
You can now find me in California, where I've abandoned the snow and sleet of the Northeast for fairer climes. My wife, Sudeshna, and I have made our new home in Silicon Valley, where we enjoy sunny days and cool evenings with mountains, hiking trails, beaches, and nearby San Francisco.
I'm currently doing strategic planning at Roxio, the digital media company. Prior to my current job, I worked in Adaptec's corporate business development group.
In Boston, I worked at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) for almost four years. Prior to that, I founded Sandbox, a technology consulting firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a focus on establishing Inter...Expand for more

After earning a B.S. in mechanical engineering at M.I.T., I spent two and a half years playing in the band Famous People where I got to hone my drumming skills and exercise my backup vocals. I've recently found time to play in a few other bands in my scarce free time.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy cooking, hiking, photography, and traveling.
My recent travels have included a fantastic wedding and honeymoon in Kauai, a dream vacation in Bermuda (the first birthday gift from my wife), and a trip to Norway to visit relatives. Some upcoming trips will hopefully be to Asia, now that I'm on the Pacific Coast.
