Celeste's Story
Life
Before I get into the bio, just wanted to say to those who helped pull the 20-year reunion together - THANK YOU!! I didn't realize beforehand how good it would be to see everyone again who was there! I wish EVERYONE could have been there. I'm going to see who I can find for the next one!
Here's the bio (as of July 07): went to BYU for 2 years, couldn't pick a major, met my husband before I was ready for marriage so I told him to go away and come back in 3 years (he thought I was kidding). I couldn't live without him so we got married that summer right after I turned 20 - and he still puts up with me! When I turned 31 I finally decided that if/when I go back to school I'll major in music. But for now I'm interested in writing books. We have 3 fantastic boys ages 14, 12, and 3, and a 7-year-old girl who was the easiest and happiest baby ever born, and who was the most difficult pre-schooler ever! My kids bring me alot of joy; I'm lucky to be a stay-at-home mom. But pregnancy is the worst form of torture ever devised so I'm through!!!! My husband was in the Navy for 8 years so we've lived all over the country. He has switched careers several times and is currently a Computer Geek...Expand for more
. We moved to southern California in July 2004. We've got several home improvement projects in mind; hopefully we can actually get them done in spite of having to take care of too many kids! These days I'm jealous of grandmas - they have all the fun and none of the work. Someday I'll be able to pursue hobbies again.
I have a couple of victories I want to mention; one is, I was fat for about 12 years and finally got fed up (so to speak) so I've lost 60 pounds with Weight Watchers. The other is that I've won a 9-year battle with depression, so if you need a boost or want more info on that, email me - I know what not to say to a depressed person! :-)
One more thing - I'm currently into an online game called Guild Wars (something I can do with my sons) - send me an email if you play it and we can look each other up!
College
Couldn't pick a major, dated too seriously, greatly admired my Freshman roommate - she was the coolest girl I've ever known. Shoulda done what she did - didn't date the same guy twice until she'd gone out with two more guys. What a great way to stay in circulation!! I wanna do-over - I'd major in music/voice, focus mostly on school and stay there until I graduated.
