Hi Classmates,
Can't believe it's been 50 years now - in some ways it all seems like a blur to me now, but at other times I feel some of the things that happened there as acutely as it were yesterday. Senior year was truly one of the best years of my life, our last chance to happily live within a protected and supportive environment that managed to shield us from some aspects of the real world.
After I moved to Michigan I studied literature at Wayne State University with the idea of obtaining a doctorate and becoming a professor and writer. I was always interested in psychology too, though, and went from my master's in literature to a doctoral program in clinical psychology. rolled in training to become a psychoanalyst. After many years as a medical faculty member within a Department of Family practice, /i decided to devote myself full time to my private practice, which I continue to thoroughly enjoy. I have a wonderful schedule - I work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and have a four day weekend every week. My lovely wife was a senior executive with Ford Motor Company for thirty years and has now brought her business experiences into the academic world, where she is the President of a local private high school. We have a lovely daughter and twenty wonderful nieces and nephews too, all of whom live nearby.We're very fortunate that life has been good to us and I hope all of you are happy with your lives too.
