Howard's Story
Life
Let's see. I think I'll just do an outline. It may not be so boring that way, and you can get through it faster.
1. Graduated from Saugerties H.S., 1963. You already knew that.
2.Graduated from Syracuse University, 1967. Degree in Political Science.
3.Survived Marines 1967 - 1969. I got to see Vietnam and Japan. Very interesting. Got wounded twice in Vietnam.
4.Started working at IBM, Kingston in 1970. Started in Production Control as a glorified clerk.
5.Met my future wife while hiking in the Catskills in 1975.
6.Got married in 1976. We have 4 children. Two boys and two girls.
7.Became a programmer in IBM in 1977.
8.Became a manager in IBM in 1984.
9.Went back to programming in 1991.

d my job to India in 2004, and 'retired' me. Two months later they rehired me as a temp in a different job. In January,2010 they laid me off again. I'm retired now, collecting a pension and social security.
11. My oldest daughter is an architect in Cincinnati. She is married with 3 children and a fourth due in February 2010. My oldest son is an E-5 in The Coast Guard.. My second son graduated from St. Rose in Albany in 2009 with a degree in accounting. He is still looking for a job as an accountant. He and his girlfriend have a son, so I'm a grandfather of four kids and counting. My youngest daughter is a nurse in Las Vegas, and was married last May.
12. Married to Nancy for 34 years.
