Life
Howdy to you all from Texas. Yes, after 36 years of life in New York, I moved to Texas and have been here 11 years. I have devoted my career to working with persons with visual impairments and blindness. My first career I worked mostly with adults as a Rehabilitation Teacher of the Blind, teaching adaptive daily living skills and prevocational skills. After about 10 years of that, I took additional course-work and did a student teaching at Tennessee School for the Blind, and became a certified Teacher of the Visu...Expand for more
ally Impaired. Now I work through school districts, serving students from infancy through high school graduation. And yes, I do teach braille. And yes, I love having summer vacations.
My parents still live in the house I grew up in and are doing well. My sisters live in Tennessee and California.
I have a very nice boyfriend, Ben, who is an aviation mechanic. We have been dating 5 years. I bought a house and now I have 2 cats. Let me know if you are ever in "the big D".
