Kieran's Story
Life
I got married in 2001 to an officer in the US Coast Guard. He's from Severna Park, MD. We're living just outside of Cleveland Ohio for the next few years, until the CG moves us again :) I'm a Registered Nurse working in critical care. We have a little girl named Claire Elizabeth Mitchell who was born in November of 2005 and our son Tommy was born Sept 16, 2007. I'd love to hear from old friends, my email is kieran.1027atgmaildotcom
School
Centreville High still holds happy memories for me even though I had to transfer to Wakefield HS in Arlington for the 2nd half of senior year. My diploma may say WHS but I will always consider myself a CHS grad! Friendships and "boyfriends" seemed to be the focus of our universe in High School, but the people I most appreciate are the administrators and teachers who helped mold me into the woman I've become. Mr. Cooper, Dr. Buchanan, Mrs. Seward, Mr. Goad, and especially Judy Tate kept me going in ways I don't think they were even aware. In many ways I feel that Mrs. Tate gave me more know...Expand for more
ledge than any other one person in my life. With our 10 year reunion quickly approaching we've been wondering what so and so has been up to and who we're going to get to see. If I am able to make it to the reunion, I hope to see some of our mentors as well as our friends.
College
I went to JMU right out of HS but after 2 years I decided I would rather work. Now after some work & life experience I have figured out what "I want to be when I grow up" and I'm back at school pursuing a nursing degree in Florida. This past semester I was elected the Student Government President for my campus which simply added to my courseload. I've also managed to find time for two major knee surgeries in 2004 so hopefully 2005 will go a little more smoothly.
Workplace
I have worked in so many places and they all bored me. I was a secretary at a police department, an IT research & development firm, a meeting planner and conference organizer, a waitress and bartender, a legal secretary and now I'm a Registered Nurse working in critical care.
