Donna's Story
Always busy. That's us. 1972 was a big year for me in several ways. HS graduation, of course. I then went to work for the phone company two weeks later and got married in Sept, 1972, to Dan Nelson, Mojave class of 1969.
We have lived in Bakersfield, CA, since 1973.
Over 40 years later now. We had three children, now 35, 32 and 29. We have six grandchildren, 13,11, 9, 7, 5, & 3. (all born in even years to make it easy to remember!)

I spend a great deal of time volunteering with American Youth Soccer Org. (AYSO). I am one of 14 Section Directors in the USA. We are Section 10. We've enjoyed watching World Cup Soccer this year, as Landon Donovan and five other players are AYSO alum. I also teach management classes. I coached when the kids were much younger, took the referee course twice, but never had the nerve to get on the field!
