Hunie's Story
Life
Sure, I too miss all the carefree days of high school, but now we have to grow up...or do we! :) It took many hard working years to finish college (two degrees and three certifications), but I did it! I presently tutor students w/ and w/o learning disabilities privately, online, and through the school districts in Bucks and Montgomery Counties and Phila. My employers call me the "Miracle Worker", which can be a bit intimidating. Also, I train people how to use computers from the basics to advanced. In addition to training people to use computers, I'm a merchandiser and certified mystery shopper. I hope to hear from you soon! I hope your life has been happy and fulfilling! Be true to yourself, may your hearts stay young and your spirit live on! :)
School
School was a lot of hard work, but I enjoyed it. I never liked missing school b/c I felt there was so much to learn. There was always someone new to meet or some big challenge to face.
College
Since I wasn't encouraged to go to college, I was hesitant if it'd be...Expand for more
worth the time and effort for me. Even though it took me 5 different colleges / universities / schools (due to moves & completing 4 different degrees and 3 certifications), I was determined to do well and finish. I managed to keep a 3.8 average throughout the many long hard years that I attended colleges. In addition, I've recently applied for my international tutoring certification. It had been a long, expensive struggle, but worth it! Now, I can make the money I want and have the freedom to do it! :)
Workplace
I have always enjoyed working. I love the challenges, the people can be trying at times, but good, and the variety. I wanted to find my place in life. I think I always knew, but I wanted to experiment with other jobs. Finally, I am a private tutor and computer specialist. Basically, I make my own hours and I really enjoy my job. I work both online and going to people's homes. In addition, I do some mystery shopping and merchandising. Anyway, I've found that there is always more to learn.
