Susan's Story
the basics-two chldren 32 and 30-two grandsons 10 and 12. married twice-divorced once and widowed-12 years ago. no more marrying for me. lived in marina for awhile and then in salinas for over 20 years. sadly, i am the only one left in my immediate family as my father, mother and sister are all gone. It is a unique situation-being the only person with those memories.
after my husband died i went around the world-although most of the miles on an airplane and not the ground. i went back to school and now have two bachelors degrees and a masters in history from Sac State. am looking for teaching positions so i can pass on my passion for american history. have not ruled out going on for my phd. guess i never stopped l...Expand for more

i really love living in sacramento-all the sunshine is wonderful after all the years in the fog. i am yards away from the American River Parkway which makes for a beautiful walk.
but am lucky to be able to visit the peninsula and spend time with my dear friend catherine muller mccoy. the two of us have been on nearly parallel journeys these past years and are extremely lucky to have each other to talk to.
it was so good to connect with class of 68 reunion goers in 1998 and look for to seeing many at the 40th. as we look back on that year of 1968, who knew so many time changing events would take place--king, kennedy, election of Nixon. and we were all so much a part of it.
