Barbara's Story

Hi Everyone, I am married to a former Dreher graduate, Vince Lucius. Vince attended Charleston Southern and Central Michigan.. I didn’t work until the children got older. We will be celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary next week. We have lived in NC, SC, and moved to Toney, Alabama (outside of Huntsville) in 1999. We are both retired. Vince was last employed at Boeing and I retired from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). I was the coordinator of the engineering department. We have two children 1 girl and 1 boy. Our daughter, Sandi, does real estate closings for Doma. Our son, Joe, is a Software Engineer. We have 6 grandchildren. We...Expand for more
have been truly blessed. One of our grandson’s ( Ashton) will be getting married next January. So excited for him. Our oldest grandson , Daniel, is in the U.S. Navy stationed overseas. So proud of him. The other 4 grandchildren are in school and college.. I have been able to keep in touch with some of y’all. It makes me miss SC that much more. I do get to visit with my sister who lives in Summerville about twice a year. Thanks to all who have touched base with me. Stay well and let’s stay in touch. Update: BTW. Where have the years gone? I just pray my memory never fails me about the wonderful friends i had at Dreher. Those truly were the best days.
