Ian's Story
Hi,
Been a while! I have some vivid memories of Grantham - most of them positive. I liked the school so much I spent 6 years there, instead of 5. st 15 years have been involved in the nasty world of publishing - writing books for teachers and children.
Recently I decided to spend less time doing paid work, and more time giving something back. Doreen and I run the local branch of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand, and deliver Meals on Wheels twice a week.
We live in a modest, but mortgage free property in Titahi Bay, north of Wellington. It overlooks the Tasman Sea on one side and the Porirua Harbour on the other.
Have visited St.Catharines a couple of times over the last 37 years. Always brings back some great memories. Shame about St. Paul St! Would love to hear from old friends at Grantham (even people from Lakeport) Write if you get the chance.
Kia Ora,
Ian
