Ida's Story
Hello anyone that remembers me! My life changed drastically after high school. My parent`s decided to move back to the country that I was born in.
I thought it was a disaster, I was 19 years old. I had lived most of my life in the United States and I just loved it over there. My parent`s decided to move back to the States in 1977 after living a year in Europe and it was that year that I fell in love and married. My husband didn`t want to live in the States after living there for 2 months and we moved back to Europe and I have been living here ever since. We had two children t...Expand for more
ogether. We divorced after 27 years of marriage. I would very much love to go back to Seattle someday but with two kids over here it`s not easy making a decision like that. My kids have alway`s traveled back and forth to Seattle over the years and they have enjoyed their visits. But their grandmother died and things are different now.
One thing that I have learned from the decision that I made at 19 years of age is never marry and live oversees.It`s just too complicated!
Who knows,maybe one day I will move back!!!
