Ines's Story
Who would have thought that 42 years could race by with such incredible speed. Having moved around a bit, I've not been doing a good job keeping up with old friends. I've been living in NC for the last 30 plus years....longer than I've lived anywhere else and it's home. Even though none of my kids live in the area it's where they were born (except for the oldest) and raised, so it will always be home to them.
As short term memory seems to be abondoning me my thoughts return to the more distant days of my youth. For the most part I remember being happy, but I enjoy the freedom that comes with being 60.

st, my sons seem to be following family tradition. None are married and none have fathered children of their own. Whether I shall live long enough to experience grandchildren remains to be seen.
I've had the privilege of hosting 13 exchange students over the years, and after I retire I hope to be able to visit many of them.
Nursing continues to be a challenging and stimulating profession. I've enjoyed just about every specialty and am now working in a skilled long-term care facility. The residents range in temperament from delightful to devilish...just like our own families.
So, enough about me....would love to hear from someone out there.........
