Hello Class of 1962 at Hueneme High School
First of all, thank you very much for making my senior year such a wonderful and special year as a foreign exchange student. I would like to share with you how this experience influenced my life because having spent a very interesting time abroad, I decided that I would like to see more of the world. Shortly after I returned home to my âÂÂhigh schoolâÂÂ/gymnasium, I met my future husband, and he had the same idea, so as soon as I had finished my studies at Aarhus Business School and my husband had his degree in civil engineering, we moved to London, and right after that to Johannesburg, South Africa. ent 15 very happy years in San Francisco, where my husband besides being CEO of the Danish company also was the Honorary Consul and I was Vice Consul, we built a home at The Sea Ranch, Sonoma County. We are both retired now and spend winters at The Sea Ranch and summers in Copenhagen at the home we have had since 1979.
Our daughter, her husband and our grandson live in San Francisco.
In February we passed Hueneme High School, and I was thinking how different things were 50 years ago, not only time wise, but also how different Denmark was from the USA. Now the world is much smaller, and I think we are part of the globalization.
We are now in Copenhagen and have just returned from a trip to China and therefore have no plans to travel to the reunion in June. I wish you all a happy reunion, IâÂÂll be thinking of you with so many happy memories.
Love,
Inger
