Raechel's Story
Life
After high school I took a year off, then began attending University of Minnesota - Duluth. That lasted one year, until my relationship crashed and burned; then I transferred to St Cloud State University, where I changed majors 3 times... and got sucked into a Real Estate Appraiser career. That job was supposed to pay for school; instead I allowed it to take over my life.
After my second major relationship ended I needed a change. Some friends convinced me to move to Colorado; where I've been for 4 years.

There I met and began dating Ryan.
Last July I was diagnosed with a malignant hemangioblastoma brain tumor. Ryan has stood by my side throughout my fight. I had surgery last November (on my brithday in actuality), with chemo and radiation following. This type of tumor can recur, and it did.
I fought hard... and don't think I could've done that without Ryan's support.
I have been in remission for 3 months thus far, and my life is finally settling down...
I, too, will be settling down soon, with Ryan.
