Irene's Story

Life I went to UCD after high school. I graduated in electrical engineering specializing in microwave, solid state, and quantum electronics. I left Sacramento for the Bay Area to work. I played in an orchestra until I married at age 25. While married, I raised 2 dogs, 3 cats, 9 rabbits, 30 goldfish, a snake and 2 lizards. Not the same as having kids... but definitely challenging. After 11 years we divorced. I kept the dogs, and continue to have dogs as regular companions. I've been in a steady relationship for the last 8 years. I've been doing well in the Bay Area. I wish everyone well. May we all age gracefully! MARRIED! I'm back! I love Italy. Croatia is amazing. Now I truly understand the meaning of "it's Greek to me" . utiful. The honeymoon was fabulous. And I'm HAPPY! I am an aunt 3 times. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece. The boys are 4 and 2. The girl is 2. When I'm around these little ones I definitely feel my age. My husband Ron is a great partner for me. We get along famously. I hope everyone out there could find that person who makes life enjoyable. I finally did. With the 2 girls, we are now a complete family. Ron "loves his girls". And we all love him. Shelly is big and funny. She smiles constantly. Her laughs (huffs) are hysterical. Daisy is shyier. She loves chewing thumbs off of gloves and carrying socks around. We got the girls at different times from different rescue groups. So although Shelly and Daisy are about the same age, they don't fight for dominance. By the way... I'm a part time massage therapist as well as a full time engineer.
