Irene's Story
I got married 10-3-70 and was married for 43 years to the same man who passed away in his sleep 9-14. Went on a family Disney Cruise in December 2014 with our son, daughter-in-law, twin 13 year old grand daughters, and 10 year old grandson. This was Jim's dream and was book over a year ahead of time and needless to say he wasn't able to enjoy it with us. After the cruise spent several days in Pompano Beach FL. in ocean view condos. I am trying to adjust to the different lifestyle of being in this big house all alone.
I have many good close friends that are keeping me busy as well as my family. We are currently talking about possibly doing a cruise with some of my friends and in April 2015. Now I go whenever the chance arrives. My husband and I traveled everywhere from several cruises to out west for weeks, up north for weeks, Jamaica, Bahamas, St. Thomas, Aruba, etc. I think it may be time to finally enjoy seeing the rest of the US which I have not seen all the states.
