Iris's Story

Born and raised in Richlands, VA. Graduated from Richlands High School in 1977 and graduated from Southwest Virginia Community College in 1978 and 1979. I have worked at Clinch Valley Medical Center for approximately 29 years. I first worked for 21 1/2 years in the Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician/Secretary, then moved to IT&S Department - IS Support Analyst, for 6 years...Expand for more
and then to my current position as Quality Coordinator in the Quality Department. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jerry, for 21 1/2 years. Two children - Annalise Rae who will be 18 on June 12, 2009 and Chase Brandon who was killed in a motorcycle accident on June 15, 2008, just 3 months shy of his 20th birthday. Four cats - Muffin, Peaches, Oreo and Bella.
