I am currently a Detective in the NYPD. I have been in the NYPD for almost twenty years. I took the test right out of high school and went into the Police academy when I was twenty years old. I AM RETIRED!!!!! JULY 31, 2008 IS ONE YEAR!!!!! RETIRED OUT OF THE HOMICIDE SQUAD. THERE IS NO BETTER JOB THEN THE NYPD!!!
