Irma R.'s Story
Life
I'm in Naples , Florida and would love to hear from some old Harlingen friends that still live there or other places of the world. What professions our High School prepared us for and where are the fun places to travel. I play golf during my off time or travel. I was the Principal at Rufino Mendoza Elementary in Fort Worth, Texas . Our school received the National Blue Ribbon for Exemplary Status. It was the most wonderful award that I ever received.

sting enough we have many migrant families from Harlingen that migrated to Florida and stayed here. It's a great place to live but Texas is home for me. I am now a School Director in a Public Charter High School in Fort Myers, Florida.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a planner idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My wonderful husband, Richard Anton Miller and I have been happily married for 33 years.
We both love, the beach, travel and golf. Naples retirement is a Paradise for us.
