Irvine's Story
Heres my story, I left Michigan in Sept of 1979 and went directly to Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego Ca. I remained there until 12/79 when I graduated basic training. I was then stationd at Camp Pendleton Ca, where I recieved training and then was sent back to MCRD San Diego for my permanant duty station. I reenlisted and was sent to Marine Corps Development and Education Center, Quantico Va. I remained there for 2 and a half years. for Washington Gas installing and servicing new and old natural gas lines. After an accident where a 2" line ignited on me and burnt my face arms, and chest I went to work as a telecommunication technician. I wrked that until May of 2006 when I was determined leagally blind and considered to be disabled. Gver that period of time I fathered three children 2 boys and a girl. My youngest is 15 and now lives with his mother. The other two are older and out in the world. I am single and live alone in Spotsylvania Va with two dogs, a snake and a Umbrella Cockatoo ( Baretta Bird).
