Ivar's Story
Hi All.
Can you believe 50 years ago we graduated? What does one write about? Lets start with finishing high school. I was a LATE bloomer and grew 5 inches in college. Finished up at 6 feet even. Went to Cal State Fullerton got a bio degree. Than off to Podiatric Medical school in Chicago Illinois for 4 years. Did a masters in Public health at Univ of Illinois at the med center and than a 3 year surgical residency in Foot and ankle surgery ending up at Mount Sinai hosp. as chief resident. I was lucky to train with some of the worlds best surgeons who were also the team docs for all the professional sports teams in Chicago. After 9 years in Chicago I did a beeline for Newport Beach where I have been on staff at Hoag Hospital for 37 years ...Expand for more
now. I have a private practice here in Newport Beach and would love to help anyone who has a foot or ankle problem. I have some very unique specialties one is for PAIN called Paicur where I just give a small shot in the foot to stop pain like in the back, knee etc instantly. Also Nailcur for fugus nails 99% effective to give you beautiful nails again.
I have been married and divorced. Currently have a great fiancée Deborah who lives with me. Have twins now 23 years old They recently graduated from college, UCLA and Tuff's. My son Sam just started his second year in Medical school at Temple university in Philly. My daughter Ivara lives in D.C. now.
I am presently putting together our 50th reunion and hope as many grads from 72 can make it.
