J's Story
I met my husband while I was in college and we have been together 15 years and have 4 kids. My oldest daughter is 14, my next daughter is 10 and high functioning autistic, my oldest son is 6, and my youngest son is 3. We are a big happy family and our favorite thing to do is to go places together or just hang at the house with friends and their families. We have challenges but together we deal with them. should be happy. I don't know how many of you remember my best friend Maria Alaimo, but she passed away in 2002 from cancer. We were together from first grade and stayed friends over 20 years. I miss her everyday and wish she was here to share this with me. She attended Dutch Broadway and 7th grade at Elmont. I'm a mom and wife and wouldn't change a thing. I still wear my flannel, concert tee's and jeans and that's about it.
