J.D.'s Story
Attended The Abbey School 72 & 73 went back to public Canon City High School graduated 1974. attended Univ of Northern Colorado 74-76, went o work in the oilfields TX, OK, WYO, Alaska 1977 to 1986. Joined the U. S Navy 1987 assigned to Battalion NMCB FIVE Port Hueneme CA (SEABEES) I was a personnelman and forward observer on the Battalions Mortar Cannon platoon.we participated in actions in The 1st Gulf War Saudi Arabia and Kuwait 1990-91. Was honorably discharged from the Navy and moved back to Colordo and attended the Univ. Of Southern CO in Pueblo from 1992-1994, graduated with BS in Social Science and minored in History. for the State of Colorado 1994 Division of Youth Corrections Colo. Sprgs and Denver; worked way to low level supervisor, early 2000 transferred to Colorado Dept. of Labor as a Disabled Veteran Oureach Program Specialist in Colorado Springs, CO. In 2001 transferred to Colorado Dept. Of Labor division of Unemployment as a Labor and Employment Spec. II, recently became a Labor Employment Spec. III working in Downtown Denver.I plan on retiring Dec. 2011 or before depending on economic issues at the time. I have been married and divorced 3 times (didn't really want to get married any of those times) no children except for four legged ones, .
