Jack's Story

HI! Like the song says..."what a long strange trip it's been".I left the Valley,family and friends in October 1966 for the US COAST GUARD and Vietnam and was never the same since.When I was growing up I thought I wanted to go to sea and be a pirate.The sea,and the rest of the world was precisely what I wanted not the pirate part.My attempt to come home and dig in was not what I expected after the "return" from Vietnam wore off.I lasted less than 7 years before I was off again.I was fortunate to ...Expand for more
have found a career that enabled me to have a family,home and yet live,work, and travel all over the world. I am still working and have no immediate plans to retire.I saw some of you in 1986 at our 20 year school reunion and have been able to maintain contact with a few old friends (thank you Lynnda, Cheryl,and Sheryl!).
