We have a wide variety of rare and hard to find beads that are at least fifty years old. Big portion of our beads come from Parks Importing Co (Vogue) after it went out of business in 1975.My aunt was fortunate enough to get the treasures that collectors have missed.My aunt loved to travel and any place she went she bought beads and other treasures.That is how we were fortunate enough to get ivory, cinnabar, cloisonné which China doesn't allow to export since the 1970s. Our murrano and Venetian glass is the same age as all of our other beads. For forty years my aunt created her jewelry and made a living. She sold to stores around New York City and some other boroughs. She also had articles written in the New York Times on her jewelry and beads. Today all of those stores are closed and she would like to retire.
I'm second generation of jewelry makers. I create my own style and would like to think that my jewelry is unique and one of the kind.I make special order for people and very happy to her that when they get my piece of the jewelry it is even better than they thought it would be.
