Military
I went into the Navy when I was 17 years old and still wet behind the ears. I remember Boot Camp was really an experience in itself. The first day I came aboard the USS Pyro AE24, was a very exciting day for me. I did not really know what I was in for. I remember my first WESTPAC cruise. I was very young at the time. into the Phillipines. What a drag that was. When I was discharged from service I remember people calling my name out, but I did not look back. I figured I'd spent four years onboard Pyro and was glad to be going home. I dropped four silver dollars on the quarter deck and said thank's for the ride. One thing that I remember is the friends that I made during my tour of four years. They will always be in my heart. Some of the best friends a guy can ever ask for. God Bless all of them./END
