Jack's Story
Greetings to my Ramhi classmates. It is good to reconnect with many of you here.
After 40 years in the Golden State, I made a move to the Wasatch Mountains of Utah in 1994. I'm an empty nester and live solo in a home of my own design overlooking the entire Salt Lake Valley and the surrounding mountain ranges.
All four of my kids are married and doing so very well. They are scattered from Califonia to Arizona to North Carolina and even Glasgow, Scotland.
After leaving Millikan, I studied broadcasting and film at LBCC and SDSU. I worked in radio and TV news after college and then switched to real estate brokerage in 1978. Today I work for First American Title Insurance as their Traini...Expand for more
ng Director and spend my days teaching professional continuing education courses to Realtors, lenders, appraisers, attorneys and title and escrow officers.
My passion for music and dance has remained strong. I perform regularly with the Salt Lake Scots Bagpipe Band. That's right, I'm still a Drum Major for the parades and play the highland bagpipes in festivals, competitions, weddings and or course funerals.
I love to travel and will soon have my Italian passport and duo citizenship. I have a goal to live and work in Italy and Europe for a few years before becoming semi-retired.
I look forward to reading about you and yours here.
Until next time,
Jack Marinello
