Jack's Story
Life happens...
1978 graduated from West, moved to CO to go to the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO.
1979 studied Taekwon-Do achieving Colorado State Champion in martial arts competition.
1980 moved to L.A. to become a stuntman.
1982 achieved National Taekwon-Do Champion.
1983- Computer Operator for Universal Security Insurance Company
1984 - Computer Specialist for International Creative Management (ICM)
1985-1990 ran computer operations primarily for Architectural Digest, Bon Apetit, Home Magazine in Los Angeles and Dole Foods in Westwood, CA.
1986 married my college girlfriend.
1990 had a near fatal car accident when struck by another car. Trained and recovered to receive my III degree black belt in 1995. I had a leapbaby daughter, Sophia.
Divorced college girlfriend and returned to Boulder, Colorado.
1997-1998 trained and studied Taekwon-Do and screen writing.
1999 - Sold my first screenplay. Worked on CBS' "Sons of Thunder" hour television show.
2000-2001/Dallas, Texas - CBS show Walker, Texas Ranger and ...Expand for more
got the opportunity to be involved with the Norris' during the last two seasons.
2002/New Mexico, I passed my IVth degree black belt testing. I am now working on my next screenplay.
2003/Sherman Oaks, CA, I moved out to California for work and to be closer to my daughter.
2004-2005/Denver, CO, studied computers, trained in Taekwon-Do and continue writing.
2006-2007/Denver, CO, caretaker for my Mother, studied computers, trained in Taekwon-Do and continue writing.
2008, working on computer, pre-tested for Vth degree black belt in Taekwon-Do and continue writing. Lost my mentor and mother, Martha Martin, June 17th and am looking forward to seeing the SMW '78 crew in July.
Had fun seeing everybody at the 30th SMW reunion
2009/Achieved International Instructor's Status, focused on raising my daughter
2010-2011/Denver, CO, caretaker for my Father who passed September 25th, taught my daughter to drive :-}, kidding, continued Taekwon-Do and Computers
2012/Denver, CA and NV travelling and enjoying life. Hope you are too!
