Jack's Story
Life
Jack Gill has created some of today's most memorable action stunts seen on film & television. His experience in all types of vehicles is virtually unsurpassed due to his professional motorcycle racing background & the vast number of action features & television series he has been involved in. For the first three seasons of "The Dukes of Hazard," Jack doubled for star John Schneider & drove the "General Lee" through its rigorous schedule of weekly car chases & automotive acrobats; he was with Lee Majors in "The Fall Guy," the adventure romp based on the exploits of a fictional stuntman, during its first two seasons; & from there he went to "Knight Rider," as their stunt co-ordinator, director & pilot of "K.I.T.T." Moving into feature films in the mid 80's, Jack amassed an impressive number of big budget film credits. ck. He also worked closely with Julia Roberts & Nick Nolte in "I LOVE TROUBLE, & again with Julia on "ERIN BROCKOVICH" as the doctor in the Jaquar that hits her in the intersection. He has also performed spectacular stunts in blockbuster features such as, "TERMINATOR II," "THE ROCK," "CON-AIR," "SHOWTIME," "PEARL HARBOR," "AUSTIN POWERS 3 GOLDMEMBER," "WITHOUT A PADDLE," and "LAST HOLIDAY." He has been a guest on "Good Morning America," "CNN," "Maury Povitch," "Mike Douglas," & "A Tribute to Hollywood's Stuntmen." Jack & his wife Morgan Brittany were featured 3 separate times on "LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS," with Robin Leach. Jack is a member of the Directors Guild of America, Screen Actors Guild & The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, & has been nominated and won many stunt awards over the past years. He and his wife of 25 years, actress Morgan Brittany, their daughter Katie & son Cody reside in the hills of southern California.
