My backyard Giant White Bird of Paradise or Wild Banana tree has just produced a spectacular flower.
A large chunk of cypress washed up in my backyard during Hurricane Hermine last year. Recently, carved these 4 fish from the log and put them on an exterior wall of my house. Nothing intricate, mainly folk art.

Looking forward to trying out the new casting platform that I installed on my flats boat for fly fishing. Easy on and off with a turnbuckle.

The mouth of the Suwannee River is a few miles north of Cedar Key. One of the few major wild rivers left in the U. S. (No dams). Traveled 20 miles up the river in my boat to fly fish for bass this weekend.
