Jackie's Story
I moved to Minnesota four years ago and am happily married to Chris Leighton. I have a wonderful son, Austin, who is almost 13 years old who keeps us busy with a never ending schedule of friends, skiing and swimming.
I have been working in the corporate training and development field for around 12 years now and love what I do.
My husband is from the U.K. and is a Physics Professor at the U of M; Chris is Austin's "go to" parent for math--I am sadly deficient in remembering anything mathmatical.
My mother moved out with us and lives nearby; we are so lucky to have her so...Expand for more
close as she's our only family in Minneapolis and is so helpful with Austin and our busy schedules.
We live in Minneapolis, not far from a beautiful lake, with our crazy mixed breed shepherd named Benson and our equally entertaining cat named Belle.
We make it back to Oregon to visit my Dad, Lora Cross and Nancy Bartow (Karnosh) at least once a year--hopefully twice a year in the future.
