Jackie's Story
I have been widowed for ten years as of this year. I was married to the real "love of my life" for 28 years, Thomas Sheldon from the class of '56. Long, sweet story. I have been in Beaver, Oklahoma from Dumas nine of those years as of this year. I felt the Lord brought me to Beaver to see my two precious-grandchildren grow up. Now that has happened (at least in age - ha!) as Lacey will turn 23 soon and Chris 21 also soon. Both are now graduated and in college so the Lord is bringing new chapters in my life as Lacey is married and an Air Force wife as well as the mother of my only great-grandchild. one in January, 2012. Lacey is also at OSU in Stillwater and keeps adding degrees to her desires so don't know when she will actually graduate; she should complete her bachelor's in Psychology within a year and a secondary in Early Childhood Development Psychology but may pursue nurse practitioner after that. Chris is in his third year transferring to Stillwater this year, living with Lacey as Jared is away on duty. My daughter and her husband are thoroughly loving being grandparents and having them close enough to make the trip often.
We will see what the Lord brings around next; I try to remain open for His plan.
