Life
No, we are NOT Packers Fans. Jordan's organization picked this team and I almost choked having to cheer for them. It it was my choice, Packers or Hot Pink uniforms, they'd of been in hot pink!
After moving to Rockford my junior year, I lost track of almost everyone. My senior year was really Rockford because we moved to Naperville my actual senior year. I hated it! Missed Rockford and so I graduated early. There were like 600 kids in Naperville Centrals graduating class.
I went into the bridal business while studying culinary arts (never finished), went full time into managing Eva's Bridal which was "the" Chicago place to buy your dress back in the 80's and 90's. Went to fashion design school in Chicago and lived there for awhile. Got back in the bridal business.
Bought a big 5 bedroom house in Wood Dale IL and married into the Eva's, Exlusive's, Bride$mart, and Bridal Salon of Marshall Fields/Dayton Hudsons family. We were married at our home in 1998. In 2000 we got out of the bridal business and bought a small res...Expand for more
taurant. Had my son Jordan on 11-28-00 and things were great until 9/11. The restaurant business sucked, people were staying home. We had a sewer backup and decided to close the business and start over some where else. While we were trying to figure out what to do with ourselves our home burned down in 2003. It took almost 3 years to rebuild. We are selling it and are now back in Naperville.
In 2005 my mom was diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer. She is doing well. May 2, 2007 I was diagnosed with lymphoma and am starting chemo May 29th.
What I have learned is to live each day like it's your last, that friends and family are what's important, money is not. Life is amazing and we all have our journeys. I guess this is mine. As of August 2007 I am in remission thank God! I am learning to slow down A LOT!
So to update it's now almost 2009, as far as I know I am still cancer free. Seperated from my husband and life is ALL Good. Every day must have joy and if you aren't making someone elses life better you aren't really living!
