Jackie's Story
Well after high school I moved to Ukiah and went to Beauty College and worked at the Green Barn (I think it was called). After Beauty College I moved to Reno and had my first child by that time I was 22. I went to school for awhile and got a job. I had been working as an Administrative Assistant for years, and then in 87 got married to and had a couple more kids. That went on for about 10 years and then I decided to divorce my husband and raised my three kids for a few years by myself. My husband was a drinker and you know how that goes. I
was single for awhile, dating here and there nothing serious. I am still in Reno and working at a huge grocery store(Winco) as a Checker. I'm dating Jim and we have been together for about 2 years. Things are pretty good!
I have always been into horses! I have had them all my life. Right now I have three of them. With my job at...Expand for more
Winco my schedule is always different so I don't have as much time to ride as I used to but the horses are still with me. Something I can't seem to let go of. I learned how to snow ski about 10 years ago and haven't been able to do that in awhile. I'm looking forward to learning to Cross country skiing.
My three kids are all grown and out of the house. My youngest is Daniel and he turned 18 last December, and is going to College here in Reno for Criminal Justice. Bryana is my oldest she is a mom - that makes me a grandma!
she is getting ready to go to school as a Dental Assistant. Katies my middle daughter and she is just living with her boyfriend and having a good time, she is 20.
Not sure what else to share, but I sure miss my high school years and would love to do it over again. I have been to a few of the class reunions and I enjoy seeing everybody.
