Jackie's Story
Since I left Mt. Whitney in 87 and graduated from the Teenage Parenting Program/Visalia Adult School in 87, I have been busy. I got married to a great guy and went on to raise 4 great kids. My daughter, Kayleigh who is the oldest, is married to a Navy airman and they have a beautiful daughter. They live in Lemoore. I have three sons, Ian who is 17, Josh who is 15 and Zachary who is 10. We all live in sunny Arizona. We bought a home two years ago and we are enjoying fixing it up when I am not busy teaching kindergarteners! Yes, I am a elementary teacher after spending 19 years as a preschool teacher. nce Degree Program. Then I received my Masters Degree in Elememtary Education from the University of Phoenix Online Program. I am taking a break, but I will be going for my Doctorate soon. I am looking to teach at the university level online while continuing to teach at the elementry level.
When I am not busy working, we enjoy hanging out as a family. We enjoy hiking, working in the yard, playing games or doing community service projects through our church. I became a member of the Elks Lodge and I do children's charity projects through my Lodge as well.
Life has had its ups and downs since high school, but it has been a very good life. I enjoy every minute that I get and I try to make the most of every opportunity to be a blessing to others along the way.
