Jacklyn's Story

Life When I was 19 yrs. I married my first husband, Thomas E. Anderson, from Half Moon Bay. We had three daughters together, and were married 9 yrs. We lived in San Jose, Lakeport and So. San Francisco. We had bought a house in San Jose in 1973, and lived their for 1 1/2 yrs. He then had a breakdown, and we moved to Lakeport where our Daughter Kellie was born in 1976, a few months later we seperated and I moved back to Hayward with my parents until I got an apartment on Manon Ave, got a job and was happy until he came back into my life. A couple years later I was pregnet with the twins and they were born in 1978. We then moved to So San Francisco, where I ended the marrage due to abuse, physically and mentally. That was in 1979. In 1980 I lost my Mom. In 1991 I re-married a man named Michael Williams from Pacifica. We met in Brisbane at the 23 Club, I love to dance country. It was so cool back when to be country. We moved from So. City to Fairfield where the marriage grew and then died, we split up in 1984. We had gotten in to drugs. I moved back to Hayward with my Dad and lived with him for a year until I got my job at Western Title, then we moved to San Leandro on E. 14th Street, just down the road from work. In 1985 I met Jesse Vierra from San Leandro, we had a great relationship. I lost my Dad in 1987, and we later moved to Fairfied in 1988, when Jess lost his Dad. We finally got settled in our new house, and I went to work for Frontier Title, I disliked this job because it had no advancement. I was unhappy and Jess and I decided to sell the house and move to Washington in 1989. I bought a house in Riverside Pop. 250, a big change from Fairfield. My oldest daughter hated it. The Twins loved it. It was their ages, Kellie was a teenager and the twin were young enough to love it. But Jesse had a hard time being away from his boys, and moved back and forth from their to CA. In 1989 I did move briefly to Lakeport and went to work for Colonial Title, but went b...Expand for more
ack to Riverside a few months later. In 1992 I lost my brother Steven, and I had an operation and went on disability. Then in 1993 I sold the house in Riverside and moved to Omak, 6 miles away. I thought it would be easier for the girls if we lived in town and driving in the snow was somethings a challenge. In 1993 I webt ti Wenatchee Valley College and while attending college I was put on a medication and gain hella weight, and became a diabetic. In 1995, my daugher Kellie was in a relationship with a Mexican, Benito who was their working in the apple orchard, and he had 2 Uncles who lived here. In 1996 they gave me my 1st Grandson Terrence. In 1996 Jesse and I sold the house in Omak and moved 5 miles away to Okanogan and bought a house their. The twin were now 18 and doing drugs, they got into Crack, up their you have Mexicans who work in the orchards, and then you have the Mexicans who are drug dealers, and they sell it to the while kids, and the Indians. Omak in the heart of the Colville Indian Reservation. In 1999, Jess thought it would be good for us to move away to Oregon where I bought a Mobile home in Klamath Falls. We were going to retire because he got in pension from the VA after fighting with them for 11 yrs. but it never truly happened because he died in 2001. After 15 yrs. I was now alone. But it hasn't been so bad. It hasn't be to great when the twin moved here they brought their addiction with them and because addicated to Meth. But they have are now clean. Chrissy 4 yrs. and Colleen 2 yrs. I am very proud of them. Kellie is doing well also. Currently at 55, I am working on taking better care of myself since I have been overweight most of my life I am now going to water arobicts, and swimming just about daily. I see my family grow, and grow. I am currently looking for a job. I haven't worked in 17 yrs. but I have my hopes that someone will feel I am worthy. I still have a few good years left to give. Hope to hear from you all soon. Jackie
