JACQUE PILKINGTON International Business Developer and Wellness Consultant Who would have thought ten years ago that my life would have taken a new direction and led me to my new career? I spent the first part of my life coaching gymnastics and became owner of a successful private center with my mother's dance studio. For 25 years, I devoted my days to teaching children about their bodies, how to use them and the importance of teamwork. My husband was a successful financial advisor for over 28 years. Our children were very active in sports which became our focus and love. Our son, Ross, was drafted out of HS into Minor League Professional Baseball by the Colorado Rockies organization and our daughter, Paige, a standout in gymnastics, volleyball and track, earned a full ride track & academic scholarship to Northern Arizona University. The fall of 2000 brought an unexpected tragedy. My husband, Greg, was in a severe auto accident spending weeks in recovery. That same fall, our son sustained an elbow injury and surgery which eventually ended his baseball career after two seasons. Fortunately, he accepted a scholarship to the University of Nebraska as a wide receiver and followed his second sport, football. He was named co-captain of the 2004 Nebraska Cornhuskers football team. Our daughter Paige transferred to UNL to be with her brother and graduated with honors in 2007.
