Jacqueline's Story
I am married and I live about 500 miles away from my hometown. I married late in life at age 37. It took me that long to meet my "Mr. Right" because I was never thin or pretty, so I was left on the shelf so to speak until well into middle-age. Add to that the fact that I am quite strong-willed and I don't back down when I know I'm right, I encompass the most miserable combination of faults: chubby, unattractive looking and opinionated. (Oh well, we can't all be the prom queen.)
I am also an author. I have written and published four nonfiction books to date and I am working on my fifth. I have been interviewed on Tom White's radio show, "Business Matters" discussing the issu...Expand for more

I only write non-fiction of the contemporary social justice genre. So, if you don't want to be made uncomfortable by my head-on tackling of America's issues with class as it intersects with religion and gender, you won't like my books which are decidedly leftist, irreligious, and therefore "subversive." So, consider yourself forewarned.
In October of 2009, a coordinator of a human rights group in London paid for my round-trip travel and 2 1/2 week stay in England as a speaker on the death penalty in America and how socio-economic class privilege shapes American jurisprudence. It was a wonderful opportunity and a memorable experience.
