Jacqueline's Story
While in high school I decided I would like to work as a stewardess for American Airlines........And so in 1957 I joined the Company , flew as a stewardess for 1 1/2 years then became a stewardess supervisor for the next year . living in New York. (one of its boroughs)
In 1960 I married a wonderful man who had lived in Toronto and gone to Lawrence Park Collegiate then U of T where he graduated as a chemical engineer, after which he went to Yale University where he obtained a masters degree in Chemical engineering.
Bear with me because his work life had everything to do with all the travelling I did with him including Britain ,Ireland, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Japan, Hawaii, Italy, Sardinia...Expand for more
..many Carribbean islands for vacations.
We have lived in many states.....Conn. Kentucky, New Jersey (ugh) North Carolina and even Montreal,Canada. Quebec...1978 to 1982.
All the while raising two daughters who got to move everywhere with us.....pros and cons about how all the moving affected them.
We now live in Connecticut which is where we started when first married.
And have a summer place on Lake Couchiching , Orillia, Ontario being the main larger city on the lake.aaannnd I've runout of space, I think (well , maybe not)
One of our daughters lives here in Westport, the other lives in Arlington.Mass. with husband and 3 children.
That about sums it up....it's been and interesting journey.
