Hi Mustangs & Crusaders,
Here I am living in Freiburg, Germany....never would've thunk it!!
Now my English is worse than ever and my German has a horrific American accent because I didn't start learning it til I was 38!! But no one is grading my writing these days!!
Life is good, I still look forward to my eternal home, heaven!! Been a missionary in Europe for 9 years, in Freiburg for 6 years and married 22 years. God never gave us children, but He gave us lots of German "children" :) We work with the youth and college students mostly here in Calvary Chapel Freiburg. Hi Folks,
well last Friday I had a real treat! Being all the way in Germany I don't often get to see old friends from high school, BUT Karen (Galewick) and her husband Kirk came to visit us!! We had all kinds of big plans for France, the Christmas Market.....we spent most of the time just hanging out and talking! I put a Photo of us in the photos section...check it out!!!
School
Biggest crush...Tom Westhoff....funny that I am now living in Germany!! All my coaches...sports were great and probably kept me out of a lot of trouble!! If I could do it all over again? I would worry less about what others think...live more for God!!!
College
Went to Point Loma Nazarene University...best decision I ever made...got a degree in Athletic Training. Went on to get my Masters at ...Expand for more

Workplace
Have worked since I was 17...first at "Coco's famous Hamburgers"...then always somewhere with sports....my freshman year in college I washed the sports clothes at night while I studied, then I did more athletic training, After grad school I worked at Sports medicine clinics for 11 years, then taught Athletic training at Point Loma (Alma Mater) for 4 years along with coaching softball...in 1999 moved to Europe to be a missionary. Life is crazy and great!!!
Military
When I moved to San Diego my brother told me to watch out for those military guys....7 years later I married one!!! A navy diver.
July 2008
Just want to update some....we are still in Freiburg, Germany...now 6 & 1/2 years, I can't believe it! We currently have 20 High Schoolers (were we that squirelly) and 7 leaders here from Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego visiting us.
Life is good, today we went to France and helped to clean some carpets that will be sent to Romania to the poor. God is great!! I am so blessed to be alive....2 days ago I had a bike accident (we ride bikes here in Freiburg....don't drive cars much) and at 47 I endoed and am grateful for only a few gnarley bruises and some soreness...praise God I excercise and am pretty fit!! What would happen to you if you fell off you bike today?
Be blessed....and no matter what anyone tells you, there is a God and you WILL meet Him someday, are you ready?
